He has been a dentist for 21 years, and when including his time in dental school, he’s dedicated 25 years to the profession. Since graduating, he has consistently worked with dental implants, making implant dentistry his focus for the past 21 years.

Education
Dr. Kim’s extensive education and training uniquely position him to handle complex cases. After earning his undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of California San Diego, Dr. Kim received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California. He continues to stay ahead in dental implant advancements through various advanced certifications and training programs.
Dr. Kim is a graduate of the Kois Center and has completed advanced bone grafting courses at the Pikos Institute. He also underwent a nine-month implant training program at the Misch International Implant Institute and trained at The Zimmer Institute. Additionally, he is certified in IV sedation. This comprehensive education allows Dr. Kim to offer cutting-edge treatments and personalized care to his patients.
Dr. Kim is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, where he holds a fellowship. He is also a fellow of the Misch International Implant Institute and the Academy of Osseointegration, and serves on the board of trustees for the Pierce County Dental Society.
